Professional photography lab BPD Photech where facing a dilemma - their loyal market of traditional film photographers was becoming a smaller specialist market, with high-street digital printing services increasingly taking a market share of their high-end professional, exhibition and canvas digital printing services. It was time to carefully reposition them in the bustling digital photography printing market, with a high-end rebrand of their public facing presence, across all their print materials, advertising and most importantly, their website.

We produced designs for a suite of print materials, magazine advertising and redesigned and expanded the scope of their website to educate, allow sample orders, online print ordering and digital image upload. We also took the chance to get the company up and running with an educational photography and print blog, email newsletter and set up facebook and twitter accounts.

The key with this photoshoot was to keep the background very clean and bright, so it was easy to remove the characters from the background in post-processing.
The results of the photoshoot will be used within our advertising campaign and on the website we are currently designing, but here is a sneak preview.

Hotel rebrand, website and online booking system

This website and hotel booking management system was commissioned by North Walian Hotel Sefton Court. The brief was to simple; to have the best hotel website in the area. We think we did pretty well, even with client expectations like that to manage! The website features a dedicated, custom-written bookings management system and online booking/payment for new customers. The aim is to impress the socks off potential hotel guests visiting the website, then make it as easy and quick as possible for them to book their holiday, ensuring a high conversion rate from the website.

Happy 5th birthday, Firefox!

After its release on 9th November 2004, the open-source browser quickly became a firm favourite with web desigers and developers alike.

In only five years, Firefox is now the world’s second most popular browser (after Internet Explorer).

As well as being a stable and fast web browsing platform, for web developers like us, Firefox’s real advantage over other browsers, is the add-ons system which allows us to use invaluable add-ons like the powerful Firebug.

So why are you still using Internet Explorer?
